An exhibition of miniature paintings by Fatima Zahra Hassan

Educated at Royal College of Arts, London, MS. Hassan's first exhibition of paintings at the Price of Whales Institute of Architecture was inaugurated by Prince Charles.

MS. Hassan is one of the few painters who are extremely knowledgeable about the link that miniature painting has with the poetry and music of the Muslim Mughal South Asia.

Raz-o-Niaz by Rafi Peer

A Romantic Comedy set in India in 1930s This play is considered one of Rafi Peer's classics. When it was first produced and subsequently broadcast from all India Radio Delhi, where Rafi Peer was head of Drama, in early 1940s it caused a major sensation. Many years later, in 1975, it was directed by Salmaan Peerzada and produced by Rafi Peer Theater Worksopin in Karachi, the play was a huge hit once again. It is one of those timeless masterpieces, with fascinating characters, set in an enchanting period, that continues to give pleasure to audiences through the ages.

After years of persuasion she has agreed to show her line for shows in Washington DC and New York by Virsa.
