Angelina Fiordellisi, Artistic Director

Cherry Lane, the historic theater of Poet/Playwright Edna St.Vincent Millay, Eugene O'Neil,             Samuel Beckett &Sam Sheppard, hosts the works of 13th century Sufi Poet/Music Composer Hazrat Ameer Khusro. It is said that the present day sitar and tabla were the inventions of this poet/musician genius. He composed many raags(ragas) including Raag Aiman. The compositions of Ameer Khusro      are as fresh today in the 21st century as they were in the 13th century some 800 years ago!

Don't miss this opportunity to listen to these two great master musicians play the works of a genius          in an intimate "mehfil" like gathering.
